The Student Union of The Hague
The Student Union of The Hague protects and promotes all who study in The Hague. The areas of housing, quality of education and international students are e.g. topics for which The Student Union of The Hague actively safeguards and accentuates the interests of the student in The Hague. The Student Union of The Hague regularly enters into a dialogue with policy makers and academies/universities to discuss these points. In addition, annually different debates are organised making it possible for students to debate with several policy makers on different topics. We also safeguard the interests of students that study in a different city, but live in The Hague. Furthermore, students can get individual help from the Student Union of The Hague when they have a problem, help in the form of advice and assistance. Not everything can be solved locally. For this reason the Student Union of The Hague is affiliated with the National Student Union (LSVb). Through the LSVb the Student Union of The Hague influences subjects that are denounced at a national level, such as improvements in the area of grants and the OV travel card.
